Aug Update - Heading to Malaysia and Thailand to do some sailing on my new sailboat.
July '24 - Needs Updating. I haven't been to this site in over a year but still the same spirit. And I'm back in Alicante for a visit.

Currently in Alicante, Spain after 6 months of travel in Canada, Colombia and sailing in the Caribbean. Now looking to see some of Europe again. I am an avid adventurer and travel light.
Originally from Canada but moved to Europe in 2000. I've lived in Dublin, Ireland for many years and now considering settling in a warmer and much drier Alicante. I've retired and will continue to travel and seek out new adventures.
I've done a lot of cruising and racing sailing yachts. That is a passion and would still consider a circumnavigation if I found the right partner. I'm still fit and capable. I enjoy hiking/hillwalking and working out in a gym.
I'm sincere, loyal and considerate. And I'm still looking for a special woman to share an active and adventurous lifestyle. I enjoy outdoor activities in nature as much as exploring cities and museums, with ample people-watching breaks in coffee shops and I always enjoy a new restaurant. I'll eat anything... even my own cooking if I have to. lol. I love live music and good pub banter.
