About Him
I'm supportive, a good listener, confidant and loyal friend. I will not try to "fix" you or your life or your bookshelves unless you ask for my help.
My friends and family tell me that I am a "brilliant" guy but my "brain" power has been misdirected in the past. My past work life was in the Internet economy. It's still the fallback but I'm burning my bridges to light the way ahead. (I describe my corporate career as a mashup of "Ground Hog Day" and "Dilbert). Outstanding effort wasted on endeavors not advancing society, community, the environment, the arts or joy - no alignment cosmic or secular. I'm slowly working on being creative and healing practices to help others and myself.
I like to work out: weight lifting (At my best I'm only gym strong) and Tai Chi. I miss yoga and will start again after many years of not practicing. I trail ride but no true mountain biking or road biking - I'll make an exception for France, Italy, Spain, New Zealand and Napa.
I believe in the healing and restorative power of nature.
